Audio Video Lead Installer

Responsible that all assigned system installations are completed properly, on-time, and safely.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage the day-to-day operations of all assigned projects. Communicate with project manager in advance about staffing requirements.

  • Direct and train field installers on proper installation methods.
  • Work with project manager on pre-installation stage to perform site visits and provide implementation recommendations.
  • Will be interacting with the client, installation teams, & management on every day basis. Participate in regular team meetings.
  • Be able to effectively interact with multiple unionized construction trades.
  • Document all aspects of the project’s progress.
  • Obtaining final sign-off’s at project completion.

Basic Requirements:

  • Our top candidate will be a leader, a professional communicator, highly effective at meeting deadlines.  Comfortable making decisions & initiating action.
  • Three or more years of strong Audio Visual installation experience.
  • Experience with building structures, codes, construction processes.
  • Must possess problem solving, trouble-shooting, and creative thinking skills.
  • Time management critical.
  • Note: this is a key operational position.
  • Please do not apply if you do not have verifiable experience & knowledge of the technical aspect of advanced commercial Audio Visual systems.
  • Must have a verifiable “clean” background. We regularly work in locations requiring rigorous background checks.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license; have and continue to maintain a safe driving record.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer a formal education in electronics or a related field.
  • Experience & knowledge of the technical aspect of advanced commercial Audio Visual systems.
  • This is a professional position for those who want to be in the professional level of the Audio Visual industry.
  • Must be able to: use hand tools & test equipment; already know how to solder & crimp connections; pull cable; lift up to 75#, sometimes overhead; climb ladders / lifts to 35+ feet.
